Stylish design with functionality and practicality

At an early stage of what was to become the sound absorber "Lily", the company Abstracta contacted us at Agolux.  Abstracta had worked out the function and design of the sound absorber together with the two Norwegian designers Runa Klock and Hallgeir Homstvedt and wanted help with integrating lighting into their new product. In order to get the right overall feeling, it was important that the lighting matched the pre-existing design. Together the absorbent and lighting would feel like one uniform product.

The finished product combines stylish design with function. The lighting fixture acts as suspension for the absorbent and comes with long cabling for easy connection, as well as mounting wires. The lamp is powered directly via 230V, is dimmable and has a pleasant warm light.

Throughout the development process, we made sure that all necessary certificates and tests were carried out. Further development of the lamp is ongoing and several variants have been developed for different purposes. Among other things, a variant specially designed to meet the demands that exist in the US market.
